Colombia is densely packed with an amazing diversity of landscapes and destinations -maybe even too many - with many of them forgotten by the gringo trail formed by word of mouth and online reviews.

 

This abundance of options is why we offer unique                                 , tailor made to fit your riding style, desires and schedule regardless if you're already on the road with a plan or if you're wanderlusting back home.

If you want to hit the road spontaneously, we’ve mapped out some of the most scenic routes and thrilling destinations among the thousands the country has to offer. Find some inspiration sorted by duration, although fear not that we have many, many more in stock.

 

From a relaxed day cruise in the Andes around Medellin to week-long adventure loops through jungle, volcanoes, deserts and ancient ruins there’s no excuse not to discover what Colombia has to offer riders.

Daytrips & Short Overnight

So close yet so far

Enjoy a cruise up the mountainside with stunning views of Medellin before arriving in charming Santa Elena. 

 

You can explore the region and it’s silletero culture before dropping by our Permaculture farm and cabin to learn about organic farming or simply kick back and relax away from the city life.  There are many activities and delicious restaurants nearby. If your timing is lucky, you might even leave with some fresh fruits and greens.

Finish your day with some dirt roads before sunset in the barrio of Santo Domingo and a fine cocktail at Rango

There's more than just a rock...

If you're going to stay on the gringo trail, you might as well do it properly. Avoid yourself the tourist packed bus in twisty roads and give yourself to opportunity to see more than the rock and main town square. Explore the rest of the valley and catch some uncommon views of this landmark

Andes Express

Jardin is a picturesque colonial village perched between the Andes, a fantastic 3h drive away. You’ll slalom through hills next to the river before heading towards the steep coffee plantations which guard the entrance of Jardin. Whether it’s exploring the nearby playground  roads, channeling your inner flaneur or birdwatching, you won’t regret this quick trip.

South of the Valley

Begin your day with a typical breakfast in the charming locality of Envigado. Start the riding by twisting and winding up through the forest past the infamous Catedral prison and waterfalls towards a network of dirt roads with stunning views in and out of the valley.

The Old Capital

​​

Ride out of the Aburra Valley towards one of the country’s oldest colonial towns and ex-capital: Santa Fe de Antioquia. Take a stroll on the cobblestone streets and cross the century old suspension bridge over the Rio Cauca. The Express route is approximately 1.5h and the Adventure route around 3 hours one way, with various opportunities to switch between both along the way.

Paisa Classics

San Rafael, Canyon Rioclaro, Tamesis, Jerico

​

It's not cause you can't see it in the tourist guide that it's not worth it. All within a day's driving east or south, these towns are popular among locals for good reasons. Beautiful rivers, canyons and towns as well as mysterious petroglyphs make for an perfect way to leave the road most traveled.

Around a week

Coffee, volcanoes and palm trees

Filandia, Salento, Manizales, Ibague, Armero

Ride the hills through coffee plantations towards the Valle de Cocora and the Nevado del Ruiz volcano.

​

See the world's biggest palm trees, active volcanoes and their dramatic consequences as well as coffee culture and the ancient land of the Quimbaya tribe.

King in the North

Necocli, Panama, Rincon del Mar

 

A little known fact leads to a little known place. Did you know that the sea is a day's ride away from Medellin and still within the department of Antioquia? Greet the Caribbean at Necocli and the cosy fisher village of Rincon del Mar. Grab a boat and walk over to Panama via a pristine beach if you feel like it.

Canyons, Colonial Charm and Caño Cristales (almost)

Chicamocha Canyon, Colonial Villages, Las Gachas de Guadalupe

 

Satisfy your craving for curves with the Canyon of Chicamocha. Soak up some culture in one of the nearby colonial towns like Barichara before soaking yourself in the stunning Quebrada de las Gachas, a beautiful river similar to the famous Caño Cristales with natural swimming holes.

Roam the entire the Caribbean coast from Panama to Venezuela.

Head North from Medellin to the Gulf of Darien and follow the coast towards sleepy fishing villages and the legendary Cartagena. Carry on up towards Tayrona, Minca and the majestic Sierra Nevada mountains as well as the desert of la Guajira
